Every engagement starts with a $495 initial consult. On that call we confirm whether a fixed-scope service fits, and if so we agree scope, price, and timeline in writing before any further work begins. Core products are fixed-price with a capped scope; larger one-time engagements and retainers are quoted on the call. The $495 consult fee is applied in full as a credit toward the engagement if you proceed afterward.

Refund & Dispute Policy

The $495 initial consult fee is non-refundable on its own. If you proceed with a scoped engagement after the call, that fee is credited in full toward the engagement. Once scope is agreed in writing, fees for completed milestones are non-refundable; fees for unstarted milestones are refunded on request.

Cancellation Policy

Either party may cancel an ongoing engagement with written notice; you are billed only for work completed through the cancellation date, and any prepaid unused balance is refunded.

Disputes

If you have a concern about delivered work, contact us first using the form on this page. We aim to resolve disputes directly before any chargeback is filed with a payment provider.

Delivery

All services are delivered digitally, as reports, code repositories, or documentation. There are no physical goods, shipping, or physical returns.

Consult booking

Engaging Frank Forge begins with a $495 initial consult. Booking is arranged by scheduling a call (or as otherwise confirmed in writing). Beyond the consult, scope, price, and timeline are confirmed in writing (invoice or signed proposal) before further work begins, and billed under the Refund & Dispute Policy.

Deposits and credit

The consult fee is credited in full toward your engagement if you proceed after the call. Any additional deposit required for a larger engagement will be stated in the written proposal.

Intellectual property

Deliverables (code, modules, reports) are licensed to you for use, modification, and deployment on your own infrastructure. We retain no ownership claim over your environment or data. Frank Forge retains ownership of its proprietary playbooks, frameworks, and training materials; these are not transferred as part of any engagement, though you may keep and use copies provided during your engagement for internal reference.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frank Forge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, regardless of your location. We serve clients throughout the United States and internationally.

We collect only what we need to run this business: the name, email, and message you submit through the contact form or when booking a consult, plus standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) from our hosting infrastructure. We do not sell or share your information for marketing purposes. If you pay online, payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card details. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on our contact form. Data is retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or fulfill an engagement.
